Spend the day with the girls, learn to golf and inspire girls to become smart, strong and bold.At Sevillano Links & Rolling Hills Casino Resort Women from all over Northern California will gather at the resort for an event packed with golf-related activities including PGA and LPGA instruction, an insightful presentation on golf & business, networking and dining opportunities, while also benefiting a good cause. The half-day event is designed specifically for women (18 and older) who want to gain more knowledge about the game of golf -- from first-time golfers to former players interested in returning to the sport. Based from the spectacular practice facility at Sevillano Links, PGA and LPGA teaching professionals will provide instruction on all aspects of the game. For those who may not yet own equipment, golf clubs will be readily available for use courtesy of Sevillano Links. Morning "Tee" and BoutiqueAttendees will have a chance to celebrate sisterhood during the morning “Tee” party while enjoying some on-site boutique shopping provided by: Posh Mama Boutique, Enjoy Magazine, Complexions Face and Body, Bertgana Son Kissed Vineyard, Beyond the Icing, Sevillano Links, Looks Good on You, and Premier Jewelry. "Course of Action" Golf Clinic“Our goal at Sevillano Links is to continue introducing women to the game of golf in a relaxed and fun environment,” shared Brian Dahmer, PGA director of golf and a supporter of Play Golf America. “The clinic will include a series of learning components, addressing everything from driving to pitching and chipping, and of course, putting too.” Participants will also receive basic tips on course etiquette, and Host Superintendent Matt Hoyt, CGCS, will demonstrate how to properly fix ball marks with repair tools donated by the Nor Cal Golf Course Superintendents Association. "Fairway to Food" LunchNetworking continues after the golf clinic and is accompanied by a scrumptious “Fairway to Food” lunch at the Rolling Hills Casino. "Drive it Home"Celebrate a day of fun, success and perhaps a new found passion during our final closing celebration. Proceeds from the event will benefit Girls Inc of Northern Sacramento Valley.Girl’s Inc has responded to the changing needs of girls and their communities through research-based programs and advocacy that empower girls to reach their full potential -- inspiring girls to be strong, smart & bold. |
